NYSWRC handles all conference payments except for your hotel reservation. We have a block of rooms at the Windrose at a discounted rate. Other discounts are available for multi-night bookings and NY residents, when clicking the hotel booking link, please be sure to click “View More Rates” to choose the best option for you! If you are a tax-exempt organization, please contact the hotel directly.
New this year, our full conference tickets includes ALL FOUR DAYS of sessions at one price! Additionally, for those registering by October 15th, this ticket includes the Thursday night ice breaker and Saturday night banquet dinner!
Note that labs and the specialty sessions are limited sign up and they must be added to your cart along with your general session ticket. We recommend purchasing these with your conference registration as they will sell out closer to the conference dates. You may not attend a lab or specialty session without having a valid single day or full conference ticket.
If you are purchasing tickets for multiple people, be sure to add each one individually to your cart. If you register multiple tickets in your name, we will have no record of the other people at registration or in our membership roster.
Cancellation policy: refunds will be given if you contact info@nyswrc.org on/before October 30th. After that date, there will be a $50 cancellation fee.
Meal Package includes: Friday Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner, Saturday Breakfast/Lunch, Sunday Breakfast. Saturday Dinner is included in all FULL conference registrations purchased 10/15 or prior. If you wish to attend only an individual meal, or purchase a ticket for a guest, you must do that separately by purchasing individual meal tickets. The Green Chimneys Wildlife Center Tour takes place Thursday, November 12th from 3-5 PM.
Transportation is not provided.
Green Chimneys is about 45 minutes from the venue. You may attend the tour as you travel in but you must pre-register!

This is the official Pre-Licensing Course which is a pre-requisite for application for rehabilitation of RVS species in New York State. Attendance is required for the entire class for application for RVS licensing. The afternoon species classes are open to all.

This workshop features lecture material and demonstrations designed for newly licensed wildlife rehabilitators or individuals interested in becoming licensed. It is a beginner-level course. Fundamental principles and essential basic techniques will be covered regarding the care of injured or ill wildlife patients, in a lecture followed by a hands-on lab. Topics include medical math, needle and syringe handling, sterile technique, patient restraint, physical examination, methods of medication administration, tube feeding, and bandaging.
Presented by Cornell University Veterinarians.
Most wildlife patients will need fluid therapy as part of their medical care. Treatment of dehydration can be a complex process and proper fluid therapy is essential to treatment success. This lecture, followed by a hands-on lab, will cover the basics of fluid therapy, including assessment of need, how to give fluids and what to use, monitoring of response, and species differences.
Conference Shirts will be available for pickup at the registration table at conference!

This ticket is for Sunday’s veterinary session from 8:30-12:30 PM. You must be a LICENSED veterinary technician or veterinarian to attend this program. Students currently enrolled in technician or veterinary school are also welcome to attend.
Certificates of Attendance will be issued for Continuing Education credits.
