The Northeast Seminar and Wildlife Rehabilitation Conference will be held October 6th - 9th at the Hudson Valley Resort and Conference Center in Kerhonkson, NY. This regional seminar, being cosponsored by Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont, will bring together wildlife rehabilitators, veterinarians and others interested in the care of injured and orphaned wildlife. This promises to be a weekend of informative presentations and outstanding Opportunities to expand your knowledge of wildlife care.
This four-day seminar will offer participants a unique opportunity to learn basic and advanced wildlife rehabilitation skills from many wildlife experts from around the United States. The core of the seminar will begin Friday, October 6th and end Sunday, October 8th. Additional specialty sessions including Oiled Wildlife Emergency Response, Rabies Vector Species Training, Animal Basics Class and Wildlife Tracking will be scheduled from Sunday afternoon through Monday, October 9th.
Lectures, labs and workshops will offer something for everyone. Topics include mammals, songbirds, reptiles, waterfowl, raptors, education, fundraising, and administration topics.
